Bay Area Psychotherapy Children and Families- Berkeley San Francisco Psychotherapy

Support Bay Area Children First!

On Saturday, November 18th, Bay Area Children First is hosting a day event of yoga and meditation with a child and family focus (Please see the attached Flyer). We welcome you to come and enjoy the day with your friends and families. All proceeds of the event will support our work to help families stay together and help children heal from the trauma of separation and loss.

If you are unable to attend our day of Yoga and Meditation (where there will also be a silent auction and free healthful snacks and art for purchase), please consider sending us a donation to help support our mental health services for children, their caregivers and families. As you know, our counseling services are driven with the philosophy that no family will be left behind for lack of funds. Any amount you can give will help children grow up to be healthy adults. Your donation also helps us leverage funding from public and private foundations so that even more children can be helped.

BACF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity. Your donation to BACF is fully tax-deductible under the Internal Revenue Service Code.

Thank you again for your ongoing support of our efforts to help children and families recover and thrive. We hope you will continue to help us provide these critical mental health services by making a generous donation today.

Best wishes for a happy and healthy Holiday Season,

Susan Regan, MFT
Executive Director

Nationally acclaimed portrait artist Seamus Berkeley has generously offered to donate 25% of all portrait commissions and sales of artwork to our fund. Seamus’s portraits include nationally known figures such as US Gold Olympic Medallist Dr.Tenley Albright. A portrait by Seamus Berkeley is something that will become a family heirloom, and a gift your loved one will appreciate for a lifetime. Will travel. http://www.seamusberkeley.com.

Bay Area Children First would like to encourage the Bay Area community to participate in the FREE eScrip fundraising program!

What is eScrip?
eScrip is a very simple and free way for you to help Bay Area Children First to raise money through your every day purchases at stores that are registered with eScrip (such as Safeway, Andronico’s, Whole Foods, Pak ‘n Save, Macy’s, Big-O Tires, OfficeMax, etc. – see a partial list on reverse or full list at www.escrip.com). Each store has agreed to donate to BACF a certain percentage of your purchases (usually between 1% and 5%).

How do I Sign Up?
Just go to www.escrip.com and click on “Sign Up” and then follow the directions to designate BACF to receive the contributions (Group ID for BACF is 151237876) and to register your debit and credit cards (and for some stores such as Safeway, your Safeway Card number as well).
Then go shopping as usual and the funds are automatically donated by the stores. You can keep track of the donations from your purchases online if you like, and, of course your shopping and card information is available only to you.

Anyone and everyone can participate in this program so please encourage everyone in your family who does any shopping to sign up!

What if I am already signed up?
If you are already signed up and shop at Safeway, you need to “renew” your registration before November 1, 2006 by going to www.escrip.com and clicking on “Yes! Renew.”
