President - Susan Regan, MFT

As founder and Executive Director of Bay Area Children First, Susan oversees a staff of Marriage and Family Therapists, interns and licensed clinicians in BACF’s San Francisco and Berkeley offices.

 

Susan founded the organization over 14 years ago in order to impact the lives of children and emotionally support the people who are raising them (parents, grandparents, caretakers, teachers, etc.). The current programming at Bay Area Children First actualizes this vision in many different ways.

 

Since the goal behind BACF was to concentrate on families, Susan continues to maintain a clinical practice serving couples and individuals, where her focus ranges from helping couples maintain intimate and healthy relationships to helping parents restructure and maintain their families through the separation process.

Susan speaks throughout the Bay Area on a variety of issues including parenting, discipline, and empowering mothers to return to the workplace. She is currently facilitating a divorce group and practices in San Francisco and Berkeley.
