| 4. Educational Workshops on Family-Related Topics (Saturday Seminars)
BACF is pleased to offer the public low-fee educational workshops to help promote healthy families. We offer these two-hour seminars to schools, parent groups, and community-based organizations who serve children in the community.
The following are sample topics we cover in these workshops:
· Teaching non-violent communication to children · Balancing work and family life · For couples: cultivating healthy communication · Understanding the developmental landmarks in your child's life · Establishing positive discipline with spirited children · Cultivating self-esteem and emotional intelligence in your children · Letting Go to Achieve Your Goals
(*) Our presenters include licensed Marriage Family Therapists (MFTs) and experienced MFT interns.
